It has been a long-time goal of mine to offer a high-quality AQHA breeding program. You will find all the information you need about my growing program here!
In the future, I may add mares to my program for some foals of my own, but as of right now, I only plan to offer stallion services. I pride myself on providing the highest quality services I can, whether that lies in my bodywork endeavors or my breeding program. All my stallion prospects will pass rigorous tests before I consider breeding. You can find all the information you will need when deciding if my stallions are the right match for your mares on this page.
I am not currently standing any stallions, but I have one stallion prospect. All information will be public and easily accessible.
RE This Cats Smokin, aka Jameson, is a 2023 AQHA bay stallion prospect. He is 7-panel clean, color tested, and FQHA registered. His services will not be available to the public until he has proven himself in the show and working rings.
RE This Cats Smokin is a 2023 bay stallion sired by High Card Cat out of Buenita Smoke.
RE This Cats Smokin is 89.55% foundation quarter horse.
RE This Cats Smokin is 7-panel negative, meaning he does not carry any genetic diseases. This image shows the results for 6-panel testing- GBED, HERDA, HYPP, MH, PSSM1, and MYHM. The 7th test, Lethal White Overo, is included in the color testing.
RE This Cats Smokin is color tested.
Red Factor: E/e, meaning he can produce bay or red foals depending on the mare he is crossed with.
Agouti: A/A, meaning he cannot produce black foals no matter the mare he is crossed with.
Dun: nd1/nd2, meaning he is not dun but has the potential to produce dun foals depending on the mare he is crossed with.
Dominant White: n/W20, this controls the white on faces and legs as well as boosting other white patterns. Depending on the mare he is crossed with, he has the potential to produce foals with white markings varying from simple markings to more flashy paint patterns.
Lethal White Overo: N/N, this makes him 7-panel negative.
This shows that RE This Cats Smokin is the horse we say he is. This test verifies parentage to stop false registrations.
I strongly believe that it is the duty of breeders to only breed the best of the best. For my program, that means testing for more than the average genetic panel.
Currently RE This Cats Smokin has been tested for Equine Juvenile Spinocerebellar Ataxia(EJSCA) and is N/N. He has also tested N/N for Equine Familial Isolated Hypoparathyroidism (EFIH), Congenital Stationary Night Blindness (CSNB2), Severe Combined Immunodeficiency(SCID), and Fragile Foal Syndrome (FFS). SCID, EFIH, CSNB2, and FFS results are on his social media profiles and included in his gallery here.
I am currently doing more research into genetic diseases and disorders so I can have him tested for anything that can pop up in quarter horses. The results will be posted as soon as I get them. This research is something that I will continue to do for the life of my breeding program.
SCID genetic test result.
