The Horses Behind Rine’s Equines

Our horses are at the heart of Rine’s Equines. They shape our daily routines, inspire continued learning, and reflect the long-term goals we are working toward.

Our developing program includes one stallion prospect and two broodmare prospects, each gaining experience through training and performance. We are giving them time to mature, build a foundation, and demonstrate their individual qualities before making future breeding decisions.

Our home herd also includes a Standardbred, a miniature horse, and a mule. Each brings a distinct personality and perspective to our daily life with equines, contributing to the experience and continued learning behind Rine’s Equines.

Meet the horses—and mule—below, and follow their progress as our program continues to grow.

RE This Cats Smokin

"Jameson"
Stallion Prospect | In Training & Performance Development

Jameson is the stallion prospect behind Rine’s Equines’ future breeding goals. He is currently focused on training and gaining experience in the show ring, with time to mature, build a foundation, and demonstrate his individual qualities.

We are taking a thoughtful approach to his development, allowing his ability, temperament, work ethic, and performance experience to guide future breeding decisions. For now, our priority is his progress as a horse and performance partner.

Jameson is not currently offered for breeding.

Bells Bluberry Shine

“Blue”
2019 Mare | Broodmare Prospect In Training & Performance Development

Blue is a 2019 mare with Hancock breeding on her sire’s side and Shining Spark on her dam’s side. She spent two and a half years at the University of Findlay, where Elizabeth started her under saddle and developed her foundation.

During her time at Findlay, Blue was introduced to cattle, began reining training, and showed a strong aptitude for ranch riding. She has an impressive stop and the coordination to develop a high quality spin, making her an exciting horse to continue bringing along.

Blue is currently home at Rine’s Equines, primarily serving as a lesson horse. Plans include returning her to show condition and pursuing ranch riding and reining as we continue evaluating her potential for our future breeding program.

Rowdy Lil CD

“Tilly”
2020 Mare | Owned by Mahaliegh Mearns

Tilly is a 2020 mare with a striking face and an affectionate, “puppy-dog” personality. She has produced three foals, each sharing her striking features and friendly disposition.

Although Tilly has not yet been started under saddle, her natural self-carriage and willing attitude make us excited to explore her potential in ranch riding and cattle work. Her training and development will give us the opportunity to learn more about her abilities, and where she shines.

Gee Whiz Daddy O

“Jack”
2018 Gelding | Saddle Horse

Jack is a 2018 Standardbred gelding who was trained for harness racing but never raced. He later spent a year at the University of Findlay, where Elizabeth refined his skills under saddle.

A dependable beginner and lesson horse, Jack helps riders build confidence and develop their skills. He is also a valuable partner when starting young horses, providing a steady presence for colts as they begin their under-saddle education.

Jenny

2010 Molly | Gaited Mule

Jenny is a 2010 gaited molly mule who is wonderful on the trails and great with children. She also plays an important role at home as a pasture companion for young horses who are not yet ready to join the full adult herd.

Jenny provides companionship for horses that need time to develop their social skills or find their place within herd dynamics. Her role highlights the value of thoughtful herd management and giving each horse space to adjust at their own pace.

Rocky & Pancake

Rocky | 2007 Miniature Horse Gelding
Pancake | 2020 Male Pygora Goat

Rocky and Pancake are a close pair who generally prefer their own company, but they also play a special role as companions for horses that are apprehensive in a herd setting.

Their company gives these horses an opportunity to become more comfortable with social interaction and build confidence at their own pace. Together, Rocky and Pancake are a small but valued part of daily life at Rine’s Equines
